President Trump has finally gotten around to filling one of the 2,000 or so vacancies in his administration – and to the surprise of absolutely nobody, he has hired one of the members of his favorite television show, Fox & Friends.
Heather Nauert will be the new spokeswoman for the bastardized State Department, which is chronically understaffed and being pushed to the wayside as Trump prefers to channel his “foreign policy” through his daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner.

Nauert is a well known Trump supporter who tweeted out support for Ivanka when Trump decided to publicly attack the department store Nordstrom over their decision to no longer sell Ivanka’s products at their stores.

FOX & Friends is notorious for their slavish support for President Trump’s agenda and has a long history of reporting false stories and manufacturing imaginary controversies, like accusing President Obama of wanting to take Kevlar helmets away from police officers, or the time they said a terrorist had helped write Obama’s autobiography.
Racism, bigotry and fake news are common currency at FOX & Friends, and it is appalling but unfortunately unsurprising that Trump is drawing his staffers from their ranks.
