Trump’s Russian connections have the potential to be the biggest political scandal in the history of the United States, and more importantly, the first instance of a president engaging in treason. Even Republicans are starting to recognize the gravity of the situation.
Richard Painter, former White House ethics attorney under George W. Bush, has had enough.
“There are people high up in this administration who obviously know what’s going on with the Russians and aren’t disclosing it,” Painter says. He continues, and gives a blunt, honest summation: “This is treason.”
He’s right. It’s time the rest of the Republicans stop putting party before country and kick these traitors out of the Oval Office and right into prison.
