Jimmy Kimmel’s moving story about his newborn son’s near-death scare has touched the hearts of Americans across the country. With tears in his eyes, Kimmel called out Trump’s callous initiative to dismantle Obamacare and cut health spending.
“If your baby is going to die and it doesn’t have to, it shouldn’t matter how much money you make,” Kimmel said.
Today, President Obama endorsed Kimmel’s moving entreaty with his usual grace:
Well said, Jimmy. That's exactly why we fought so hard for the ACA, and why we need to protect it for kids like Billy. And congratulations! https://t.co/77F8rZrD3P

It’s hard not to miss the days when our president was a man who cared more about saving the lives of children than tweeting about his electoral win.
