Michael Moore Just Made A Surprising 2020 Presidential Endorsement
Popular documentarian and liberal activist Michael Moore recently sat down with Variety magazine and made a very peculiar presidential endorsement for 2020 – action star and pop culture icon Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
One things the Democrats didn’t understands is that Trump is a beloved TV star. I’ve had this question now for almost 20 years — Why don’t the Democrats run Tom Hanks? Why doesn’t Oprah run? Why don’t we run someone that’s beloved by the American people?
Run the Rock! Run the Rock. Who do you want for commander in chief? I want the f—ing Rock! It would scare anybody that would hurt us. Think about how safe we would be if the Rock was president. Not Vin Diesel! The Rock. Or Liam Neeson, but Liam Neeson can’t run because our Constitution says you have to be born here. So who’s the American Liam Neeson that we could run? Because nobody would f— with him.
Dwayne Johnson is a professional wrestler, actor, music producer, and singer. He does not have any political experience, but attended both the Democratic and Republican National Committees in 2000 as part of the – sigh – “Smackdown the Vote” voter registration campaign.
Johnson is a registered Republican who has floated the idea of running for office before. “I’ll be honest, I haven’t ruled politics out. I’m not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure. I can’t deny the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring” said Johnson to GQ magazine.
Cool piece on why I should run for President. Maybe one day. Surely the White House has a spot for my pick up truck..https://t.co/JpkZ4w1eh3

But given the stunning incompetence of the Trump administration, it’s clear that America’s absurd dalliance with political celebrities needs to come to an end. We need to elect teachers and scientists, not men who became famous for their ability to punch other men in the face.
