Members of the Clinton campaign were not fans of FBI Director James Comey. His announcement last October that he was reopening an investigation into Hillary Clinton — before viewing the evidence, which turned out to be inconsequential — is considered by many experts to have cost her the election.
However, her campaign manager, Robby Mook is taking no pleasure in Comey’s firing by President Trump.
Rather, Mook views the unprecedented act of a president firing the person investigating him with terror. He tweeted this ominous message:
Twilight zone. I was as disappointed and frustrated as anyone at how the email investigation was handled. But this terrifies me.

This move by the Trump regime takes America well outside the bounds of our historical republic. That this terrifies Mook puts him in very good company.
