Trump has repeatedly insisted that he has no ties to Russia, and that the FBI is not investigating him personally. However, it’s a matter of repeatedly demonstrated fact that the FBI is indeed looking into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
In usual mendacious Trumpian fashion, the administration insists that the FBI investigation isn’t a big deal, and that it will soon dissipate.
Today, acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe was asked by the Senate if – as the White House claims – the Russia investigation is one of the “smallest things on the plate of the FBI.”
“Sir, we consider it to be a highly significant investigation,” McCabe said of the Russia investigation, shattering Trump’s lie.

McCabe’s choice of words lends great credence to the idea that Trump has Russian connections. What’s more, it sounds as if the FBI is devoting a great deal of resources to uncovering Trump’s illicit doings. It seems safe to assume some big reveals are in store.
