President Trump is by now infamous for his constant social media presence, and the barrage of increasingly desperate tweetstorms of denial following recent escalation of the investigation into his team’s potentially treasonous collusion with Russia has shown us why.
The president takes to Twitter to blatantly lie in an attempt to distract the public from one of his interminable scandals or to publicly attack perceived threats, like the officials he’s fired, with schoolyard insults and potentially illegal intimidation tactics.
We were thankfully spared that today when he accidentally sent out a one word message, his tiny fingers quicker than his slow-churning mental processes could handle.

He quickly deleted it, but Twitter immediately had a field day with it. Some of the responses are hilarious:

Although the first responses were funny, Adam Parkhomenko, a former aide to Hillary Clinton, saw an opportunity for protest. He started the hashtag #We and encouraged users to tell Trump what “we” want from him.

Perhaps the strangest thing about Trump’s Tweet is that it somehow managed to rack up 386 retweets and 316 likes. It looks like some of his supporters will endorse anything he does, including literally meaningless Tweets.
What do you think?
