Mike Pence Just Gave The Dumbest Explanation For Paris Withdrawal
Vice-President Mike Pence, a man consigned to the shadows by an overbearing and attention-hogging President Trump, decided to poke his head out of whatever broom closet he works out of in order to jam his foot squarely in his mouth.
Pence went on the White House’s unofficial propaganda arm, FOX & Friends, where he explained that he didn’t understand why climate change had become such a big issue for “the left.”

It is truly a breathtakingly misleading statement but sadly is of the level we have come to expect from the willfully delusional Trump Administration.
192 nations have signed the Paris Climate Agreement, whose governments hail from both sides of the political spectrum. At least 97% of scientists agree that man-made climate change is a serious threat to biodiversity, the existence of the polar ice caps, and weather patterns as we know them.
The lives and livelihoods billions of people are at risk from coastal flooding. Famine is already threatening the lives of 20 million people in Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, and Yemen.
But of course, as a rich and powerful white man, none of those consequences will ever cause nary a bead of sweat upon Mike Pencionette’s face – so he wonders why the left will not eat their cake, not caring that his administration’s rash decision could seriously impact the ability of the Earth to produce the necessary components for the creation of cake to feed the hungry mouths of his hungry grandchildren.
