Following a tweet by Trump that almost seemed to encourage violence, MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts publicly called out the President during his Sunday segment (video below).
We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people. If we don't get smart it will only get worse

In response to the deadly terrorist attacks that hit London yesterday, Trump’s initial reaction was to exploit the horrific tragedy to promote his agenda item of ending political correctness. “If we don’t,” he warned, “it will only get worse.”
In an interview with Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Roberts said, “Let’s not be PC about this. Is the President trying to provoke a domestic terrorist attack with this Twitter rant because—only to prove himself right?”
He then posed the same question to former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean. While both men avoided answering the question, the fact remains that, beyond anything else, Trump seems intent on exploiting any tragedy to push his own hateful causes. He even used the moment to, once again, endorse his unconstitutional travel ban.
We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!

Trump recently requested that the Supreme Court reconsider his travel ban, which has already been struck down twice in federal courts. In Trump’s latest unsuccessful appeal of the ban, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals said that the executive order “speaks with vague words of national security, but in context drips with religious intolerance, animus and discrimination.”
Trump’s self-serving responses today in the face of such horror show not only how weak of a leader he is, but that he will go to quite literally any lengths to promote his own draconian and illegal agenda. At this point, there is reason to believe that Trump would indeed invite an attack on American soil if it would lend credence to his bombastic tweets.
