Trump Just Doubled Down On His Debunked Attack On London’s Mayor
Yesterday, President Trump defamed London Mayor Sadiq Khan in the wake of a terror attack on the city he leads. This morning, Trump is doubling down.
In his original tweet, Trump took the Mayor’s words, intended to calm the city over the increased police presence, out of context to make it look like he was taking terror for granted.
“Londoners will see an increased police presence today and over the course of the next few days, Sadiq said. “No reason to be alarmed.”
Trump then tweeted:
At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"

The disingenuous misrepresentation was considered so egregious that the Associated Press reported, “President Donald Trump can’t be counted on to give accurate information to Americans when violent acts are unfolding abroad.”
Nevertheless, the President is doubling down on the devious remarks:
Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his "no reason to be alarmed" statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!

Once again, we see that facts do not matter to this president. Attacking innocents does not matter. All that matters is his bizarre definition of winning. And, like he warned us, America is very tired of it.
