FBI’s Comey Said He Didn’t Want To Be Alone With Trump. Maxine Waters’ Response Is Epic
Yesterday, the New York Times revealed that after President Trump asked then-FBI Director James Comey to end an investigation into his campaign’s collusion with Russia, “Comey confronted Attorney General Jeff Sessions and said he did not want to be left alone again with the president.”
While most people have focused on what this says about the pressure Trump was putting on officials in his efforts to obstruct justice, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) found familiarity in Comey’s sentiment. (Tweet below)
Known as a womanizer who disrespects women at every opportunity and was caught on tape last year bragging about sexual assault, Trump has inspired the same feelings in women across the world.
As disgusting as our president can be, it’s nice to know that we can always count on Aunty Maxine to stand up for America’s women and call Trump out perfectly.
