Top White House Officials Just Made Startling Revelations About Trump’s “Crazy” Impulses

As the weeks of the Trump presidency slowly pass by, the President’s inner circle grows smaller and smaller as people resign in disgrace or are forced out by the vicious internal power struggles that have hamstrung the Trump administration since day one.

A few key players remain, like chief economic advisor Gary Cohn, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Deputy National Security Advisor Dina Powell, and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, who have stood by the President even as he grows more unhinged and openly defends white supremacists.

Axios interviewed six top White House officials, who obviously remained anonymous, about why they still stand with the President – and their reasons are terrifying.

“You have no idea how much crazy stuff we kill” said one official, who went on to describe how important they are in restraining Trump’s more destructive impulses. Without them, they said, the US would have “a trade war with China, massive deportations, and a government shutdown to force construction of a Southern wall.”

General Mattis needs us” complains another official, saying that they hang around for solidarity with their colleagues who need the support to keep Trump in check.

But the real reason, Axios did not fail to note, was that the power these men hold over the nation is enormous – and they aren’t willing to give up that opportunity, knowing that the rungs on the ladder to even more power grow closer with every firing and every reshuffle.

Far from believing that they truly care for the well-being of our nation, the former Goldman Sachs executives are far more interested in overseeing the repeal of banking and finance regulations.

They deserve neither our trust nor our praise.
