Special Counsel Mueller’s Trump-Russia Investigation Just Hit A Major Milestone

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Russian interference in the November 2016 presidential election and the allegations of potential collusion with the Donald Trump For President campaign has hit an important milestone – the compelling of witnesses to testify before a grand jury.

NBC News reports that public relations executives from six different firms who worked on an international lobbying campaign with former Trump campaign chairman and known servant of the Russian oligarchy Paul Manafort are being subpoenaed to come forth and tell their story to the jury.

They are specifically looking into Manafort’s lobbying campaign on behalf of the Russian puppet leader of the Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, and his Party Of Regions, for which he was paid a staggering $17 million dollars.

“We think they are trying to figure out, was this a legitimate project? From our perspective it was — we did a lot of work. We took it seriously” said one executive whose firm received a summons.

The news is the first we’ve heard from the Mueller team in a while, indicating that the wheels are starting to spin quicker – and that Paul Manafort is in serious legal trouble.

After a career lobbying for the brutal African warlords and corrupt dictatorships across the world, it’s clear it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
