Under cover of the looming hurricane in Texas, Trump has quietly signed his detestable ban on transgender Americans joining the armed forces.
He announced his intentions to do so previously on Twitter and scored points with his bigoted voting base. He then fell silent on the issue, offering no directions to the Department of Defense as criticism poured in from both sides.
Now Trump, who has in the past held signing ceremonies for the smallest of things, has signed a memo detailing the transgender ban without so much as a tweet from our ignominious president.
Ana Navarro, a Republican commentator who has been extremely critical of the Trump regime in the past, immediately took to Twitter to slam the hateful memo:
Thought of a guy who dodged the draft banning qualified patriotic Americans from serving solely b/c of sexual identity, is simply repulsive. https://t.co/dKJlAvPOXM

Navarro’s criticism is spot-on. Cowardly Trump sought five deferments to avoid serving in the Vietnam war, but now has the audacity to say who can and can’t serve. He’s making our military weaker by blocking perfectly capable, patriotic Americans from defending our country. He’s a disgusting, little chickenhawk of our men, and he’s betrayed our military.
