Americans across the country are awakening to the very real possibility that the President of the United States colluded with the Russian Federation to sway the election and manipulate the electoral system.
Today, the Trump Organization delivered numerous emails to the House Intelligence Committee to assist their investigation into possible collusion. The emails that have already leaked are incredibly damning.
In addition to one Trump associate discussing the possibility of using a real estate deal in Moscow to “engineer” a Trump presidency, there is direct correspondence between Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen and Putin’s spokesman. In the emails, Cohen asks for Putin’s help in getting a Trump Tower built in Moscow. It’s evidence of a blatant attempt from the Trump team to get aid from Russia.
Dan Rather, veteran journalist and outspoken critic of the Trump regime, quickly took to Facebook to share some quick, but potent thoughts:
“The nation’s attention is, as it should be, on the tragedy unfolding in Texas. But the revelations on the Russia investigation keep unfolding. And the ties between people close to President Trump and Russian officials keep coming to light. A big report from the Washington Post.”
Rather is spot-on that Americans must juggle both issues simultaneously. We must come together to rebuild and help the people of Texas, but we can’t lose sight of the dangerous and possibly traitorous actions of our president.
