Pro-Trump Sheriff David Clarke Just Resigned
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, a vocal and virulent supporter of Donald Trump, has resigned, reports Steve Chamraz of WTMJ-4:

The reason for the departure is as yet unknown. Clarke was previously floated as a possible appointment to Trump’s Department of Homeland Security but later withdrew from consideration. It’s possible that he has resigned in anticipation of a looming appointment, or perhaps to accept a new job at FOX News, where he has appeared numerous types to espouse far-right commentary.
