Senior Aides Just Revealed John Kelly’s Biggest Struggle In Babysitting Trump

While newly appointed Chief of Staff Gen. Kelly has been credited with tempering President Trump’s impulsive behaviors, there’s one thing he can’t stop the President from doing – watching FOX News all day long.

Yes, President ‘Racist Grandpa’ still relies on FOX News for almost all of his “information gathering,” according to top Trump aides.  According to the New York Times:

Mr. Kelly cannot stop Mr. Trump from binge-watching Fox News, which aides describe as the president’s primary source of information gathering. But Mr. Trump does not have a web browser on his phone, and does not use a laptop, so he was dependent on aides like Stephen K. Bannon, his former chief strategist, to hand-deliver printouts of articles from conservative media outlets.

In a stunning revelation, it appears that Trump’s aides entirely control the flow of information to the President.  It’s astonishing to think that the President of the United States, who has access to the world’s most advanced intelligence-gathering apparatus, prefers to talking heads on cable news to seasoned professionals in the intelligence community.

Petty insistences like this on the part of the Commander in Chief are weighing on Gen. Kelly.  It’s almost inevitable that the man charged with controlling the President will clash with the President who refuses to be controlled, and it
