As today’s news broke that the Trump administration has decided to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program with a 6-month delay, Americans have almost unanimously spoken out against what has been viewed as a decidedly inhumane move by the White House. Actor Ron Perlman, an outspoken critic of the President, struck back with a scathing warning.
Mr.Trump, Mr.Sessions, you just fucked up 800,000 innocent lives. Out of cruelty. Do you think compassionate Americans won't push back?

Trump’s decision would affect nearly 800,000 children who know no life outside of the United States. DREAMers, as those who take advantage of the DACA program are often referred, are those who have benefited from the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act “who were brought to the country at an early age without documentation but have assimilated to U.S. culture and have been educated by U.S. school systems.” Because they arrived in the United States by no fault of their own, many politicians on both sides of the aisle support this program and those affected by it.
Perlman is best known for his roles as both Hellboy in the movie adaptions of the comic book of the same name, and Clay Morrow in the hit TV series Sons of Anarchy. Since the outset of Trump’s presidential campaign, Perlman stepped into his new role as a Trump troll and overall agitator of intolerant right-wingers on Twitter.
Trump’s decision, a blatant nod to his base, is a cruel move rooted in racist ideology. While the President had previously suggested that DREAMers be treated with compassion – “We are going to deal with DACA with heart” – his about face on the issue is a testament to his utter lack of any and all steadfast principles.
