White House Reporter Just Revealed How Bannon Reacted When He Found Out He’d Be On SNL
Yesterday, in a wide-ranging interview on 60-Minutes, Steve Bannon shrugged off the mention of Saturday Night Live’s depiction of him as the grim reaper.
“I don’t need the affirmation of the mainstream media,” Bannon said. “I don’t care what they say.”
Turns out, that was one of the many lies Bannon told during his interview. (Thread below.)
The Wall Street Journal’s Eli Stokols has revealed that Bannon cared so much about how he would be portrayed that he called the show for advance warning.
The below thread is only the latest proof that the enablers of President Trump do not hesitate to lie to the American people and also a good reminder that there is nothing so petty that they will not try to deceive us.
Thanks to Stokols for sharing the truth.
In short, Bannon did care very much about how SNL would portray him – because he knew Trump would see and care about it…

So Bannon reached Darrell Hammond, the SNL announcer and only conservative cast member, to see what the writers were planning.

But the claim that he "didn't care" about his media image — as he's doing a '60 Minutes' sit-down — is, well, rich.
