MSNBC Host Katy Tur Just Revealed Salacious Details Of When Trump Kissed Her
Katy Tur became a star during the 2016 campaign due to her unflappable grace and professionalism as then-candidate Donald Trump publicly insulted, demeaned, and maligned the reporter as she covered his campaign.
Excerpts of her new book reveal that what happened in private was even more disturbing than what we saw in public.
In January, the Washington Post noted that Trump regularly derided Tur on the campaign trail. He referred to her as “‘Little Katy,’ recommended that she be fired, called her ‘incompetent,’ ‘dishonest,’ a ‘3rd rate reporter.’
Today, however, in the shadow of Hillary Clinton’s much anticipated book release, Tur is releasing her own in-depth account of the campaign, “Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History.”
In the book, she reveals a creepy experience that brings new insight into Trump’s disgusting behavior, describing in detail the time Trump grabbed her from behind and kissed her on the cheek before a Morning Joe appearance.
“Before I know what’s happening, his hands are on my shoulders and his lips are on my cheek. My eyes widen. My body freezes. My heart stops,” wrote Tur.
“F***. I hope the cameras didn’t see that,” Tur described thinking immediately afterward. “My bosses are never going to take me seriously.”
This is hardly surprising behavior from a man who bragged about sexual assault, but it is no less disturbing.
Trump for his part responded as he always does when the press reveals an unflattering truth. He tweeted a baseless attack and railed about fake news with no evidence. Sad:
