Last night, in a petty, self-indulgent attack that once again signaled the President of the United States’ single-minded obsession with his popular vote loss, Donald Trump attacked Hillary Clinton over a campaign that has been over for ten months.
No one could blame Clinton for taking the bait and sinking to Trump’s level. Hillary, however, continues to rise above (tweet below).
Seeing that Trump is clearly obsessed with her books (her latest, “What Happened” released this Tuesday), the former Secretary of State, Senator, and First Lady recommended another — one that Trump could truly benefit from.
Clinton’s book, “It Takes a Village: And Other Lessons Children Teach Us,” was published in 1996 and discusses not only what children can teach us but how communities can band together to improve lives.
There is no question that Trump could learn a lot from children. Leave it to Hillary to respond to an attack with some darn good advice.
