Alec Baldwin Just Won An Emmy For His ‘Trump’ And Immediately Hit Trump Where It Hurts
Tonight at the 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards, Alec Baldwin got the recognition he deserved for a year of skewering Donald Trump with his spot-on impression on Saturday Night Live: The Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy. (Presumably, he even won the popular vote for the award.)
In his speech, the star of stage and screen couldn’t help getting in one more dig at the president who, during his time as host of The Apprentice, whined incessantly about his inability to win an Emmy. Here is just a small sampling of Trump’s pathetic grousing:
The Emmys are all politics, that’s why, despite nominations, The Apprentice never won–even though it should have many times over.

“Amazing Race” winning an Emmy again is a total joke. The Emmys have no credibility–no wonder the ratings are at record lows.

The Emmys were horrendous…the absolute worst show!

The poor little rich boy was consumed with the elusive Emmy and lashed out in truly infantile fashion at each well-deserved loss.
Baldwin heard Trump’s crying for years and used his acceptance speech to pour a little salt in the president’s wounds:

Well played, Mr. baldwin. A mature adult would simply laugh off the jab, but the President of the United States is anything but. Expect some angry tweets tomorrow.
