Scaramucci: Trump is an “orange fat blob” with “self-esteem of a small pigeon” who envies Trudeau
The Mooch is on the loose and sharing his insights into Donald Trump’s increasingly fragile psychology with anyone who will listen to the former short-tenured White House Communications Director.
Speaking to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Anthony Scaramucci dished about Donald Trump’s low self-esteem and the methods that Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison could utilize in successfully dealing with the highly insecure American president. He advised that Morrison make sure that Trump is the center of attention “at all times” if he wanted to ensure a smooth relationship and credited Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as a role model for other world leaders’ dealings with the president due to his “smart” handling of the U.S. leader.
“I would tell him [Morrison] to follow the Justin Trudeau model. President Trump is very intimidated by Justin Trudeau because he’s a good looking, smart kid and President Trump is like this orange fat blob,” Scaramucci told ABC Australia in an interview. “And so he’s very intimidated by the way the guy looks. And Justin Trudeau has been very, very smart at keeping his distance from President Trump.”
Scaramucci pointed to Trump’s extended obsession with refusing to admit a mistake when he erroneously warned residents of Alabama about the impending danger from Hurricane Dorian —based on outdated weather forecasts — as an example of the president’s mental fragility.
“Again, it’s his inability to ever be wrong about anything or ever to apologize for anything. It basically has to do with very low self-esteem,” said Scaramucci.
“I mean the poor guy has the self-esteem of a small pigeon,” he added.
While Scaramucci was initially a strong Trump supporter, he has in recent months turned against his former employer as he’s seen a significant decline in the president’s intellectual functioning. He has been speaking out about his perceptions of Trump’s slide into mental dysfunction during numerous cable news interviews in the U.S. and even at international forums.
Last week, Scaramucci attended the Toronto Global Forum in Canada, where he commended Prime Minister Trudeau’s “masterful” handling of trade negotiations with Trump, allowing the American president to take the center stage while operating effectively from the background.
“Because when you’re dealing with such a complete narcissist like that, it could have been detrimental and destructive if they didn’t do that,” Scaramucci said during an interview while at the conference.
The former Communications Director may have had only a ten-day stint in the Trump administration, but apparently, that was long enough for him to determine that the president has “lost his mind.” Then again, that’s become fairly obvious to anyone who pays attention to the news, whether they are White House insiders or not. Even a small pigeon could see that.
