Greta Thunberg trolls Trump by putting his sarcastic comments in her Twitter bio
Sixteen-year-old environmental activist Greta Thornberg trolled the President this morning by changing her Twitter bio to the text of the President’s sarcastic jab at her from earlier in the day.
The president quote-tweeted a video of her powerful and scolding speech to the United Nations, in which she correctly sounded the alarm about the oncoming ecological and humanitarian crises that will be triggered by the effects of climate change. He captioned it with a sarcastic quip, calling her a “very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!”

His efforts to mock her message failed, however, as the president gave her all the ammo she needed to turn his criticism into a slogan for herself:
President Trump has turned climate denial into United States official policy, even going so far as to ban federal scientists from discussing it while undoing every possible environmental regulation that he can on behalf of his villainous corporate donors. Humanity will pay a steep price for the president’s inaction on climate change as all signs point to the slim window of time before we reach the point of no return closes with frightening speed. Bravo to Thunberg for taking a stand and for not letting a crude bully like Donald Trump silence her.
