President Trump started his day with some truly Grade A projection. The man who sought to exploit the powers of the Oval Office to strongarm a foreign leader into opening a damaging investigation into Joe Biden and his son Hunter wants us to believe that the real traitors in this whole mess are the Democrats trying to hold him accountable for his actions. The president has repeatedly attacked Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) as treasonous and demanded his resignation, now he’s pulled Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi into the smear campaign.
Trump slammed Pelosi on Twitter, saying she “knew” about all of the “Shifty Adam Schiff lies and massive frauds perpetrated on Congress and the American people,” an enormously rich criticism coming from perhaps the most aggressively mendacious president to ever live. The so-called “fraudulent speech” Trump referred to next is presumably the one which he has already repeatedly complained about, Schiff’s paraphrasing of the phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Schiff was not trying to present his words a verbatim reading of the transcript and was clearly just trying to explain the subtext of the call and break it down for those listening. Trump is completely misrepresenting Schiff’s behavior.
The president complained about Schiff talking to the whistleblower and once again claimed without basis that the brave anonymous individual is actually “highly partisan” before shifting his focus to Pelosi. Referring to her as “Nervous Nancy,” an utterly nonsensical nickname for the iron-spined woman, Trump insisted that she is “every bit as guilty at Liddle’ Adam Schiff of High Crimes and Misdemeanors and even Treason.” Of course, Schiff isn’t guilty of any of these things and neither is Speaker Pelosi. At this point, the only people who would fall for the president’s lies are the most diehard MAGA maniacs.
Trump on the other hand? This man is inarguably guilty of High Crimes and Misdemeanors and has so many impeachable actions on his record already that it’s difficult to even pick the most egregious. His allegations of “treason” should not be brushed off lightly either, because on some level this line of attack implies that his political rivals should be put to death, an incredibly evil implication for a President of the United States to make. He has completely trashed our political norms, but this kind of thing must be called out relentlessly every time he flirts with it.

Trump ended his little outburst by insisting that Pelosi and anyone who has had contact with the whistleblower must be “immediately impeached,” which is exactly the kind of deranged rubbish you’d expect from a Third World dictator in cognitive decline. The man is running out of defenses and is increasingly forced to rely on vain lashings out such as this. It does nothing to convince anyone of his innocence and makes him look even more unfit for office. His days as president are numbered.

….This makes Nervous Nancy every bit as guilty as Liddle’ Adam Schiff for High Crimes and Misdemeanors, and even Treason. I guess that means that they, along with all of those that evilly “Colluded” with them, must all be immediately Impeached!
