Matt Gaetz throws fit after Schiff kicks him out of interview with Trump’s top Russia aide
In a bitter defeat for the President and his henchmen, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was kicked out of a closed-door hearing where the Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Oversight committees were deposing Trump’s top Russia aide Fiona Hill.
Matt Gaetz emerges from closed-door interview with Fiona Hill saying he was kicked out by House Democrats bc he’s not a member of the three committees conducting the interview. He said he consulted with the House parliamentarian, who ruled that he could not be there.

Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) refused to let the Trump sycophant in the room in order to be the president’s eyes and ears, pointing out that he wasn’t actually on any of the committees and therefore had no right to be there. The House parliamentarian ruled that Schiff was correct.

While Gaetz immediately took to Twitter to throw a fit about how the “radical left” and the right-wing media machine kicked into overdrive in an effort to paint this as some kind of devious Democrat plot, this is entirely normal procedure.
During the Benghazi hearings, Rep. Trey Gowdy kicked a member of his own party, Darrel Issa, out of his hearings because he wasn’t a member of the committee.

Of course, none of that matters to right-wingers in today’s hyperpartisan and utterly delusional political climate, where everything is either a remarkable achievement by God-Emperor stable genius patriot Donald J. Trump or it’s yet another attempt by Democrats conspiring with the (((deep state))) and the fake news media to destroy Trump and the future of white America.
It looks like Trump and his pals will have respond to the revelations of the Hill deposition in real-time, just like the rest of us.
