New report reveals past relationship between Ivanka Trump and Russia “pee tape” dossier author Christopher Steele

A new shocking new report indicates that none other than First Daughter Ivanka Trump has a direct connection to the most controversial figure in the entire Trump-Russia election scandal.

While Republicans have spent years howling about that anti-Trump bias in the Russia probe, the new DOJ report says former British MI-6 agent Christopher Steele might have had pro-Trump bias before starting his opposition research investigation for the firm that Republicans hired — Fusion GPS — to investigate then-Republican candidate Donald Trump.

The Department of Justice Inspector General’s report addressed the avalanche of allegations by the Trump campaign and his Republican defenders of bias in the FBI and of a grander “deep state” conspiracy to smear Donald Trump and undermine his presidency.

IG Michael Horowitz reported in exhaustive detail that the FBI had sufficient rationale to investigate Trump and there was not an improper partisan motive. But one of those details is a completely jaw-dropping debunk of the basis of dozens of GOP rants against Christopher Steele.

Apparently, the Trump-Russia dossier author met Donald Trump’s daughter nine times before the election, and maintained contact for years afterward which would appear to defuse any allegations of bias on his part.

“In 2007, Ivanka Trump met Steele at a dinner and they began corresponding about the possibility of future work together, the source said,” reports ABC News. “The following year, the two exchanged emails about meeting up near Trump Tower, according to several emails seen by ABC News.”

“They suggest Ivanka Trump and Steele stayed in touch via emails over the next several years. In one 2008 exchange they discussed dining together in New York at a restaurant just blocks from Trump Tower.”

“Ivanka Trump worked as an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, managing a range of foreign real estate projects, including in parts of the world where Steele’s firm, Orbis Business Intelligence touted expertise,” continued Julia Macfarlane, reporting for ABC. “She and Steele discussed services Orbis could offer to the Trump Organization regarding its planned expansion into foreign markets, according to two sources familiar with the meetings.”

While the DOJ IG’s report doesn’t explicitly name Ivanka Trump as the family member, it filled in the final blanks for the above-cited story.

Throughout this year, House Republicans have intensified their public criticism of Steele’s Trump-Russia dossier, in a deliberate attempt to use lies to confuse the public about the true origins of the FBI’s probe which turned into Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

But they only began the brazen propaganda campaign after Fox News regularly devoted its airwaves to legitimizing lies.

In the lead up to live testimony from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, numerous Republican politicians like Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and now-House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) attempted to confuse the issues surrounding the dossier as it was used in FISA warrant applications.

A warrant was issued to surveil a former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page who openly traveled to Russia during the campaign to give a public speech, where he also met with one of Putin’s top official deputies right before the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Today’s report shows that the warrant was based upon five major elements, with the Steele dossier only being one of them.

The GOP disinformation campaign culminated over the summer when they tried to argumentatively question Special Counsel Mueller before he shut down their off-topic questions since his landmark 448-page report didn’t rely on the former British agent’s info for its conclusions.

That hasn’t stopped House Republicans like Intel Committee ranking member Devin Nunes (R-CA) from continuing to raise the issue of the dossier as a diversion, even while the impeachment inquiry exposes President Trump’s wrongdoing in Ukraine in real-time, which doesn’t rest in any way upon the findings of raw data from a 2016 intelligence report.

People have called Christopher Steele the new Paul Revere for warning the world about President Trump’s deep ties to Russian in his dossier, many of which have been corroborated like the fact that Trump’s campaign believed that a “pee tape” existed, although some assertions it posed have not been confirmed.

President Trump has tweeted 70 times about the Steele dossier in the last three years, mostly to scream that it’s fake or deny its contents.

All of that time, the president’s beloved eldest daughter Ivanka, who is a White House advisor, a derided would-be diplomat, who has performed many of the duties of the First Lady concealed that personally knows Christopher Steele, and stood by silently didn’t say a word to the American people.
