Trump gets into bizarrely personal exchange with woman reporter over virus testing

Despite Donald Trump’s boasting about the wide-spread availability of testing for the COVID-19 virus, the facts on the ground are conspiring to make him a liar, a relatively simple task for the truth-free president.

With the divergence between Trump’s rhetoric and the daily increasing death toll across America becoming more obvious with each passing day, White House correspondents are becoming ever bolder in their questioning of the president, ignoring his false claims in the very premises of the questions they ask.

Of course, that doesn’t stop Trump from repeating the same false claims in his answers and proving that his persecution complex about the media largely stems from their penchant for disturbing the carefully constructed reality distortion field that he has built in his brain that prevents him from acknowledging that his platitudes don’t correspond to the real world.

One of the latest examples of the president’s paranoia about the media came during the president’s Rose Garden press briefing today when one brave reporter risked his ire by asking about the double standard between testing availability for senior White House officials and what the average American currently has access to.

Take a look at the exchange in the video clip below.

The “you people are never satisfied” defense allows Trump to attack his media tormentors who ask perfectly legitimate questions, while simultaneously evading answering those questions — all while bizarrely telling a reporter that he knows her better than she knows herself.

In the end, it’s a moot complaint to criticize the president’s responses to journalists, since no one really expects Trump to give an honest answer to a question at this point. Moreover, despite all the testing available to the bigwigs in the White House, the place is crawling with COVID-19, with the president’s personal valet, Mike Pence’s chief spokesperson, and 11 Secret Service agents all testing positive for the highly contagious disease in the past few days.

Trump can run from answering reporters’ questions, but he can’t evade the invisible enemy lurking in his midst. for all we know, today’s press conference may be the last evasive action that he takes.

One can dream, can’t one?
