McEnany throws tantrum, cries “conspiracy” after Biden suggests Trump will steal the election
One need not be paranoid to have concerns about the November election. As it stands right now, it looks likely that Joe Biden will defeat our deeply unpopular incumbent at the ballot box. What’s not entirely clear is how Donald Trump will handle such a loss should it happen.
Trump has demonstrated time and again that he has no respect for our laws or the sanctity of our elections and it makes sense to have concerns that he might refuse to leave office in the eventuality of an electoral defeat. After all, this is the man who has repeatedly brought up the idea of unconstitutionally serving more than two terms.
In an interview with The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah, Joe Biden said that his “single greatest concern” is that Trump will try to “steal” the election. Between the likelihood that we will see more foreign election interference in Trump’s favor and the Republican Party’s penchant for voter suppression, Biden’s concern makes sense.

Not surprisingly, the Trump administration is trying to gaslight the country into thinking that this president respects our elections. White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany appeared on Fox News today to unconvincingly dismiss Biden’s remarks.
“I think that’s a ridiculous proposition. This president’s looking forward to November,” said the president’s professional liar. “This president’s hard at work for the American people, and leave it to Democrats to go out there and grandstand and level these conspiracy theories.”
A member of the Trump administration accusing someone else of dabbling in “conspiracy theories” should be enough to make anyone laugh. Donald Trump is the world’s most famous conspiracy theorist. He has appeared on Alex Jones’s InfoWars and just this week peddled the idea that the 75-year-old man who was assaulted by police officers and hospitalized for his injuries was in fact an Antifa operative trying to disrupt police communications. This president lives and breathes conspiracies to the extent that there is an entire Wikipedia page devoted to them.
As usual, Americans would be wise to ignore what McEnany is claiming about her boss and focus on what he’s actually doing and saying. We cannot allow him to tamper with this election, the future of our country hangs in the balance.
