BLM protestor with valid Trump rally ticket refused entry and arrested by Tulsa police

As Donald Trump prepares for his rally tonight in Tulsa, Oklahoma — an event dubbed “Coronapalooza” because of the accelerating rate of coronavirus infections in Oklahoma and the politicization of mask-wearing by his supporters — the open violation of civil rights and free speech taking place outside the venue where the rally is scheduled to take place has already begun.

MSNBC caught one incident on camera as police arrested a Black Lives Matter protestor wearing an “I Can’t Breathe” t-shirt while she argued with a rally organizer about why she wouldn’t be allowed into the rally despite holding a valid ticket to the event.

“This is my country. This is my country. This is my city,” said Sheila Buck, the protestor in question. “I have tickets for this event. I have clothes on. I’m protected. What’s the problem?”

The organizer and police only responded by saying that the rally was “a private event.”

“I have tickets to your private event,” Buck responded rationally. “I’ve been invited and have a ticket.”

“Yeah, well, my job with the campaign is to officially uninvite you,” the Trump rally official said with little legal justification.

Soon afterward, the police took Buck into custody despite her having committed no crime.

It’s just another example of the authoritarian future America faces if Donald Trump wins another term in office.

It’s why we must not stop in our fight to ensure that that catastrophe is never allowed to happen.
