Woman gets evicted after being caught on video screaming racial slurs at Black veteran
Another day, another outrageous incident of racism in Donald Trump’s United States of America.
A woman who was filmed screaming racial slurs at a Black veteran who just returned from Afghanistan has promptly been kicked out of her apartment for her bizarre display. Diamonte Ugbesia was on his way to visit a friend in Fayetteville, North Carolina, when a woman began hurling racial abuse at him from her apartment.
“I hate Black people. I hate n*****s. I hate Black people,” screamed the woman. “Get the f*** back down. I don’t want anything to do with you. Don’t record. You better kill that n****r.”
Another man appears in the hallway and tells her to cut it out. “Let him go, just go inside,” the man said. “I will never f**k a Black person in my life,” she replies. “Get down! He’s like taking a picture of me right now!”
“Because you’re being ridiculous,” sighs the other man.
Ugbesia was astonished at his treatment. “I never heard somebody flat out call me the n-word or say they hate me. I got deployed to Afghanistan. Me coming home from Afghanistan serving my country to a person saying they hate me based off my skin color? That’s what I was mad about” said the veteran to ABC11.
Consequences came swiftly for the unknown racist, who was evicted by her apartment building.
“We have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior or failure to live in a cooperative manner. Particularly, this incident not only violates our lease agreement but the ethical standards of our community and company and will not be tolerated. We have taken immediate legal action to terminate the tenancy of the resident in violation” said Kings Housing Management in a statement to its tenants.
Serves her right.
