AOC fires back after Republican Ted Yoho harasses her on Capitol steps, calls her “f*cking b*tch”

The unhinged hostility and aggression that President Donald Trump displays towards his political enemies have demonstrably been rubbing off on the rest of the Republican Party, encouraging them to embrace a thoroughly undemocratic disgust for Democrats and ideas that run contrary to their own. It’s gotten so bad that members of Congress are harassing each other on the steps of Capitol Hill — and getting personal for no reason.

Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL), an outspoken Trump supporter and a 65-year-old man, accosted Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez yesterday morning and confronted her about comments she had made linking a spike in New York petty property crimes to COVID-induced poverty and the government’s failure to provide substantial relief for regular people, calling them “disgusting” and that she was “out of her freaking mind.”

When she told him he was being “rude,” he continued down the stairs before adding “f**king b*tch.”

Ever since she ousted Rep. Joe Crowley on a progressive platform, Ocasio-Cortez has been the subject of an obsessive psychosexual smear campaign by the right-wing, tarred as a communist and a radical by every level of the right-wing media machine from the fakest of news blogs to the President himself.

Add your name to demand an investigation into Trump letting Putin pay Taliban fighters to kill US troops!

The prospect of a young Latinx woman being so outspoken in her dedication to progressive policy and the fight for human dignity drives the chuds absolutely wild, and it’s disgusting to see her fellow Congressmen behaving like schoolchildren, pulling her proverbial hair on the playground and calling her names.

“That kind of confrontation hasn’t ever happened to me — ever. I’ve never had that kind of abrupt, disgusting kind of disrespect levied at me,” said Ocasio-Cortez to reporters about the incident. “In all these intense news cycles, I have never, ever been treated that way by another member before. I’m frankly quite taken aback.”

Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter and made sure she had the last laugh.
