FOX News’ political editor trashes Trump’s election delay idea, gloats over his weakness

The president caused quite a stir across the nation this morning when he floated the idea of delaying the 2020 election due to contrived bad faith concerns over “voter fraud” from mail-in ballots. FOX News’ political editor Chris Stirewalt hammered the president for his undemocratic proposal in a surprisingly vehement segment on the President’s once-favorite network.

Rightfully clocking it as a desperate ploy from a despondent man, he slammed the idea as “flummery” intended to provoke a reaction from the Democrats and dismissed it as a “flagrant expression of his current weakness.”

“A person who is in a strong position would never, never make a suggestion like that!” said Stirewalt.

Though Trump can tweet all he wants, nothing is going to undo the damage that he has done to this nation. COVID isn’t going away, the economy isn’t getting better anytime soon, and the 150,000 lives that have been lost thanks to Trump’s mismanagement sadly won’t ever be coming back — and Trump’s approval rating with it. The election will be how we hold him and his cronies accountable, no matter how delusional his efforts to keep it from happening are.
