Video shows crazed anti-masker spewing bigoted rant then unzipping his pants in a store
The anti-masker insanity continues. Almost 170,000 Americans are now dead from COVID-19 and yet somehow a significant portion of this country has convinced itself that masks are an unnecessary inconvenience. This potent cocktail of ignorance and selfishness is one of the many reasons why the United States is still struggling to get the pandemic under control while other countries have made significant strides towards normalcy.
The latest unhinged anti-masker incident comes to us from Campbell, California. ABC 7 reports that a man was caught on camera Monday hurling racist and homophobic comments at employees of a Marshall’s department store after he was asked to don a mask.
“What’s your dumb f*cking f*ggot problem? You don’t know the law? That’s how stupid you are,” the man—who has been identified by ABC7 News as one Tim Gaskin—says in the clip that was captured of the incident.
“It’ll cost you $75,000. It’s a health code violation to deny service to someone with a disability. So I would love you to do it, it’ll cost you $75,000,” Gaskin threatened. At one point during the encounter, he referred to one of the employees as a “dumb Mexican” who “doesn’t speak English.”

Most bizarrely, the video shows Gaskin at one point unzipping his pants for some reason. While it doesn’t appear that he went so far as to actually expose himself to employees one can’t help but wonder what was going through his mind to make him think such a thing was appropriate. ABC7 News spoke to the local police, and they explained that it was this action that is most troubling to their investigation.
“Our primary concern, obviously with this call, which I think is of great concern is the exposure aspect of this and if a crime occurred. And that’s really not to minimize the mask wearing and the times that we’re in now, and how dangerous that can be as well. But you know, really looking at the crime aspect of exposing oneself in the middle of a populated store, and trying to look into that at this point,” explained Captain Ian White of Campbell PD.
“Just to be clear, there is no clear-cut exposure in the video. Otherwise there probably would have been different investigative steps taken, and maybe an on-view arrest at that point in time, but that evidence isn’t clear,” White added.
