“Catholic Case for Trump” author roundly slammed after mocking Biden’s stutter
While Democratic nominee and former Vice-President Joe Biden gave a wonderful and compelling speech to close out the 2020 Democratic National Convention, the real hero of the night was 13-year-old Brayden Harrington, who struggles with a stutter just as Biden himself once did.

As someone who has struggled with a stutter myself, I know firsthand how hard it can be to get the words out and what kind of courage it must have taken for him to speak to the entire nation. For Biden to have personally reached out and helped this young man speaks to what kind of a caring and empathetic person Joe can be, a stark contrast to the nihilistically cruel and monstrously selfish Donald Trump, who once cut off the medical funds for his nephew’s sick baby as retaliation for a lawsuit.
It would take a truly awful person with a blackened, hollow soul to mock Biden and this young man for their speech impediments — and Austin Rose, the writer of the book “The Catholic Case for Trump,” proved eager to demonstrate the depths of his hypocrisy.
Ruse denied that Biden ever had a stutter and then when challenged on it, mocked the future president and Harrington for stuttering:
Ruse was immediately laid into by both conservative and liberal figures alike, appalled that someone who considers himself a “Christian” could be so needlessly cruel.
Austin Ruse mocked Biden's stutter.
"Austin, it may not surprise you to learn, is author of the recently published The Catholic Case For Trump."

This fired me up this morning. I'm not a Biden supporter, but the speech from the boy who stutters was one of the most inspiring things I've seen in ages. And then to see a conservative Catholic writer mock the child's handicap? Appalling beyond words. https://t.co/AqETm9KjZJ

It just goes to show how Trumpism has completely warped the minds of so many conservatives to the point where this kind of behavior is considered acceptable and even commendable.
