Social media has a field day mocking Kimberly Guilfoyle’s ridiculous RNC speech
The standout moment from the first day of the Republican National Convention was inarguably the truly deranged speech delivered by erstwhile Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle. Guilfoyle, who is currently dating First Son Donald Trump Jr., delivered her remarks at the top of her lungs, screaming into an empty room for no discernable reason.

Part cryptofascist, part carnival barker, Guilfoyle quickly found herself the target of widespread mockery which, to be fair, is exactly what one deserves for speaking at an event devoted to a man as vile as President Trump.
Prominent figures have already weighed in on the Guilfoyle debacle and the consensus has been brutal. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Republican operative Ana Navarro-Cárdenas both criticized Guilfoyle for implying that Puerto Ricans are not actual Americans.

On a far less serious note, Twitter has been awash in hilarious tweets and the hashtag #Guilfoylechallenge has exploded in popularity, with some users recording their own version of Guilfoyle’s extremely loud speech and others comparing her to famous villains from cartoons and movies.
While Guilfoyle has yet to respond to the backlash against her it seems most likely she is now aware of how badly she faceplanted yesterday. What’s more, one can only imagine how displeased President Trump is himself over the reception to the first day of his RNC. Rather than positive news coverage about the GOP’s talking points and his reelection campaign, he flipped on the television to find his son’s girlfriend screaming like a lunatic.
Things are not off to a very good start for the Republicans.
