Trump suggests Ginsburg’s granddaughter lied about her dying statement, cries Democrat hoax

On Monday morning, President Trump demonstrated once again that he has little respect for anything by publicly insinuating that the last wish of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a hoax.

On her deathbed, Ginsburg told her granddaughter that she wanted her seat to be filled after the election — but Trump turned this earnest desire into yet another of his conspiracy theories.

Calling into FOX and Friends for his weekly softball game, the president claimed that Ginsburg’s last request was in fact a “hoax” by Democratic politicians and made it clear he thought she’d be fine with him nominating her replacement.

Sign the petition to tell Mitch McConnell: No vote on a new Supreme Court Justice until after inauguration!

Earlier in the interview, Trump made it clear that he wanted the nomination to proceed before the election and had the audacity to falsely claim that RBG “voted for him” on a very important case, which he thought was “nice.”

It’s truly repulsive to see him speak so disrespectfully of Justice Ginsburg’s wishes and make light of the serious situation with jokes about putting someone like Ainsely Earhardt on the Supreme Court. The rights of millions of people hang in the balance, but for him, it’s just another wildly undeserved stroke of luck that he can claim as an accomplishment and make himself feel like a success. We must do everything in our power to make sure that he does not get to to add a third justice to the Supreme Court.
