Trump claims he couldn’t hear himself getting booed despite camera evidence to contrary
On Thursday morning, President Trump and his wife begrudgingly visited the casket of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg as she lay in state at the Supreme Court Building. But he was not prepared for the reception that he would receive from the gathered mourners.
The President was immediately hosed with a chorus of boos and chants of “VOTE HIM OUT!”

He stayed there for a few minutes before retreating to the emotional safety of the building.
The president’s refusal to commit to a peaceful transition of power last night has doubtlessly ignited the ire of the assembled public, especially in the wake of the terrifying report from the Atlantic which quotes several GOP officials on the record discussing their myriad plans to subvert the vote and steal the election for Donald Trump.
But when reporters asked him about the incident later in the day, the constantly coping President claimed that actually, he couldn’t hear the boos at all and merely heard there was “some kind of a political chant” going on outside. He’s obviously lying, since the footage shows him visibly reacting to the boos as it was happening.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth said it best this afternoon: “Trump earned those boos. He earned those jeers.”

The president’s increasingly undemocratic remarks and his unprecedented refusal to commit to accepting the results of the election is a clarion call for all Americans to redouble our efforts to drive him out of office — and his “selective hearing” is just more evidence that he refuses to take the magnitude of his decisions seriously.
Social media did not buy his excuses:
