Previously unrevealed “superspreader” event took place at the White House before COVID outbreak
While Donald Trump’s COVID-19 infection has been blamed on the risky and maskless White House reception for his Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett that took place on Saturday, September 26th, another previously unreported event that took place the next day may be responsible for the additional tranche of infections that is now hitting the senior levels of the Pentagon, according to new info that has come to light today.
Much has already been written about how the event for the right-wing extremist judge whom Trump nominated to take over the seat formerly held by the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was coronavirus ground zero for three Republican senators as well as White House officials and other guests at the ill-fated reception
However, until today it was still a mystery how the majority of the Joint Chiefs of Staff were initially exposed to the virus that first blossomed into a positive diagnosis for the vice commandant of the US Coast Guard, Admiral Charles Ray, on this past Monday.
Fred Wellman, a 22-year veteran of the U.S. Army and the Senior Advisor for Veterans Affairs for Never-Trump Republicans at The Lincoln Project, posted a lengthy thread on Twitter discussing the Gold Star Mother’s Day event at the White House that was attended by much of the Pentagon’s senior leadership.
Wellman presents a compelling case that this second event was as much of a source for the pestilence now affecting so many of the senior leaders of the military as any other of the Trump administration’s deliberately pandemic restriction-free soirees.

This event has been hidden and barely mentioned in the media or by the White House in the timelines of Trump's illness. We now know he attended the event the day after contracting COVID at the ACB event. He has literally infected our military survivor families…himself.

I'm hearing from families now. Not one has been contacted by the White House about possible exposure or contact tracing. They were exposed to multiple people that have tested positive and the Trump Administration can't be bothered to even email them.

It’s not surprising that the administration of a president who has consistently refused to accept responsibility for any of the deadly effects of the pandemic would shirk the most basic of common courtesies by letting its guests know that they were potentially exposed to COVID-19 and should quarantine themselves for the health and safety of their loved ones and co-workers.
Until Fred Wellman connected the dots, the media failed to notice that the White House had held more than one ultra-risky public gatherings on the premises all while ignoring the most basic safety precautions available during this pandemic — face masks and social distancing — that were recommended by the top scientists and medical professionals at the government’s own health agencies.
Chalk up yet another instance of total incompetence to Donald Trump and his administration and do everything you can, including casting your vote for Joe Biden, to prevent him from ever having another term in office.
