Giuliani breaks his silence on the footage of him allegedly touching himself in front of a young actress
Rudy Giuliani is having a rough Wednesday. Earlier today, The Guardian reported that the 76-year-old Giuliani makes an unwitting appearance in Sacha Baron Cohen’s soon-to-be-released sequel to Borat, the hit 2006 mockumentary in which Cohen went undercover as an absurd man from Kazakstan who uses his own exaggerated ignorance to bait unsuspecting Americans into often shocking admissions and compromising situations.
In the new film, Giuliani is caught on hidden camera slipping a hand inside his pants, seemingly to stimulate his genitals in the presence of the young actress who plays Borat’s daughter in the movie. 25-year-old Maria Bakalova plays the role of the 15-year-old character, but in the scene in question her character is undercover as another character, a reporter for a conservative outlet. After conducting a fake interview with Giuliani, the two of them retire to a hotel room for drinks, at which point he starts to do…whatever it is he thinks he’s doing.
Before the encounter proceeds any further, Cohen’s Borat bursts into the room and says: “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.”

In July, Giuliani’s encounter with Cohen was reported on in less detail. He spoke to Page Six about the staged interview but failed to mention the hotel encounter. He also claimed that Cohen “didn’t get” him and said he was proud to have avoided being fooled.
“This guy comes running in, wearing a crazy, what I would say was a pink transgender outfit. It was a pink bikini, with lace, underneath a translucent mesh top, it looked absurd. He had the beard, bare legs, and wasn’t what I would call distractingly attractive,” said Giuliani.
“This person comes in yelling and screaming, and I thought this must be a scam or a shakedown, so I reported it to the police. He then ran away,” added Giuliani. The authorities deemed that no crime had been committed and did not pursue the incident further.
Now, the president’s attorney has addressed the scandal himself via Twitter. He denied that he was doing anything inappropriate and claimed that he was simply tucking his shirt in after the recording equipment from the interview had been removed. Giuliani went on to claim that the Borat clip is an effort to “blunt” his efforts to expose Hunter Biden.
While it’s admittedly possible that Giuliani was tucking in his shirt, this is not a man known for his honesty. Over the past four years, he has methodically shredded every ounce of his credibility in service to Donald Trump. His latest smear job against Hunter Biden is just one example of the lows this man will sink to in service of the Republican reactionary agenda. Lying comes as easily as breathing for him at this point.
