Trump vows to make “television history” in escalation of three-day feud with 60 Minutes
On Thursday morning, the President continued his three-day feud with 60 Minutes’ Lesley Stahl, continuing his threats of up-ending their broadcast by releasing an “unedited preview” of what he called a vicious “takeout” interview.
In a truly ridiculous show of delusion, the president bragged that he would be making “television history” with his “magnificently brilliant” answers to their questions. Why he would have felt the need to walk out of the interview three-quarters of the way through it and then spend the next three days seething with rage if his answers were “brilliant” is unclear.
I will soon be giving a first in television history full, unedited preview of the vicious attempted “takeout” interview of me by Lesley Stahl of @60Minutes. Watch her constant interruptions & anger. Compare my full, flowing and “magnificently brilliant” answers to their “Q’s”. https://t.co/L3szccGamP

Yesterday, the president began releasing images from their interview as part of his highly-hyped efforts to upstage 60 Minutes, which accomplished nothing but reveal that the giant book of “healthcare accomplishments” that Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany presented to Lesley Stahl was in fact entirely blank.

As the election draws closer and closer, the president’s sense of resignation is palpable. Entirely given up on appealing to any other Americans besides his fanatical supporters, his obsession with maintaining his image and getting one over the “fake news media” show is all he can focus on.
We can only assume that the Trump team is hard at work doctoring and chopping up the interview footage to make it seem like he isn’t squirming with rage as Stahl holds his feet to the fire about his latest smear campaign against Vice-President Joe Biden.
The interview must have really gone poorly if he’s so worked up about it three days later!
