The levels of delusion coming out of the White House are reaching truly unsustainable levels. When questioned today on FOX Business by cigar-chomping monocle Stuart Varney if President Trump would be attending the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, Kayleigh McEnany responded as if Trump was still going to be president, claiming that he would have to be there since it would be his own inauguration.

At this point, we know that McEnany is putting on this ridiculous charade to avoid getting an earful from the President, who is doubtlessly binge-watching cable news as he sinks deeper into a mire of weapons-grade self-pity and seething.
She’s not the only Trumper to continue to live in a fantasy world; White House advisor Peter Navarro told FOX Business earlier today that “We are moving forward here at the White House under the assumption that there will be a second Trump term.”
No matter how much he numbs his rotting brain with the vapid jabbering of cable TV pundits, he’s going to have to come to terms with the fact that he lost the election and will be losing the prosecutorial immunity that the presidency offers; it just remains to be seen which of his sycophantic lackeys will have to courage to tell the emperor that he has no clothes.
