Melania begs Twitter users to follow her private account on last day of husband’s presidency

As the sun can’t move nearly fast enough to set on the Trump era, the departing first lady is making sure that her Twitter followers have a forwarding address to keep up with her exploits and pearls of wisdom once her @FLOTUS account is turned over to the incoming Dr. Jill Biden.

While it’s nice to know where to look for any expected divorce announcements, particularly with her current husband’s Twitter account permanently shuttered, the reaction to Melania’s fatuous trolling for followers on Twitter was predictably scathing.

Add your name to call for the arrest of Republicans in Congress who gave recon “tours” to Trump’s insurgents!

Some Twitter respondents were saying goodbye not just to the least popular First Lady in modern history, but also to her purported body double.

Still, at least one person took advantage of the forwarding Twitter handle to premptively block the soon-to-be-former first lady before she even really starts her new account, setting an example for other grateful readers.

Others were simply happy to let the exiting wife of the detested Donald Trump know exactly how they felt about her.

Suffice it to say that there are many people in America who won’t be signing in to Twitter desperately awaiting the latest post from the former nude model and long-time enabler of her husband’s bad behavior.

With less than 24 hours left in the Trump era, Melania is destined to be a footnote to a sordid period of our nation’s history, part of a cautionary tale of what happens when the populace is fooled into electing a fraudulent and incompetant racist clown.

We must never let it hapen again and must ensure that outcome by holding everyone in the Trump adminsitration fully accountable for their crimes.
