While his reality-bending supporters claim that Donald Trump is the picture of health in his post-presidential retreat at Mar-a-Lago, a new photo of the 74-year-0ld corpulent former leader seen holding hands with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump — fresh off of her own scandal involving the funneling of an astonishing amount of money from a dog rescue charity into the Trump family coffers — has inspired quite the opposite conclusion among the commentators on social media.
Here is a post from an enthusiastic MAGA-fan featuring the picture in question along with the tweeter’s rose-colored interpretation of what is on display in the photo.
President Trump is looking better than ever before!! He’s getting in shape for 2024 and the liberals are freaking out!! pic.twitter.com/7IfBymEsUO

Others looked at this shot and had quite different responses which they were anxious to share with the world in their own tweets.
What's up with his face? pic.twitter.com/JLZXSgHtOw

Trump is like those photo mashups online where you take two parents and see what their kid would look like and it ends up horribly wrong. I've always thought he look like his mom (which was bad enough) who knew he would get the jaundice from his father. Some genes don't age well pic.twitter.com/GoFWexzad7

Really? Do you have easy access to post the pic? I’d love to see it. As a footwear specialist, I know he wears heel lifts to appear taller , so, cheek implants would be no surprise.

Face lift? But he's gonna just leave the flabby waddle/neck pussy?? That makes no sense!

I love how I am supposed to be freaking out when in fact I wake up every day in gratitude for the return of sanity in the White House.

I think he used to get facial filler when he was still prez.
If he's no longer getting it,
the filler will degrade
erradically & settle in weird places.

He looks like the lights are on, but nobody's home. I think @TomJChicago is right. He has some sort of neurological condition.

Well, I’m seeing some of his mother too. pic.twitter.com/IEQi2E8Koq

Weren’t you paying attention during the last four years? Dear leader told us do not believe your eyes, only believe what we tell you. So they are telling us that this senile old man looks great. pic.twitter.com/9NC9yCOdmD

Jesus I really am a compassionate caring human being. I saw this and felt genuine concern. He looks terrible.

And they let him keep his hat on because he gets really upset otherwise

We have known for quite some time that Republicans inhabit a different media bubble than the rest of the country, but until now the existence of a reality filter for one’s eyeballs was a political weapon that we hadn’t realized the GOP had been able to deploy as of yet.
If this is Donald Trump in the picture of health, federal and state prosecutors looking at bringing the former president to justice for his crimes had better move quickly before he has a legitimate reason to postpone trials and claim diminished faculties as the excuse.
