Jen Psaki has mic drop moment responding to FOX reporter complaining they don’t get enough time

FOX News and the rest of the Republican propaganda network is having trouble adjusting to life post-Trump. They are no longer the darling of the White House press corps, called on time and time again to deliver softball questions a president with no interest in policy or reality. Instead, they suddenly find themselves in the opposition and shunned — as they should be.

For conservative reporters will never ask a question in good faith, nor will they have any questions not specifically designed to elicit some kind of “gotcha moment” that can be immediately packaged and disseminated through the frighteningly extensive and insatiable right-wing grievance preaching network.

A disgrace to journalism and to this country, they do not deserve the time of day from a White House dedicated to addressing the myriad crises facing this country today, of which many can be directly traced back to Trump’s appalling mismanagement.

FOX correspondent Peter Doocey complained about this during today’s White House press briefing, furious at not having enough airtime. “We noticed, starting at the end of the transition and into the White House, any time that the president has an event where he is given a list of reporters to call on, FOX is the only member of the five network TV pool that has never been on the list in front of the president, and I’m just curious if that is official administration policy?” whines Doocey to Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

Psaki dryly quipped in response that “We’re here having a conversation here, aren’t we? Don’t I take questions from you every time you come to the briefing room? Has the president taken questions from you since he came into office? Yes or no?” Doocey responded by complaining that “only after I’ve shouted after he goes through his whole list…I’m just curious about this list!”

Unfazed, the Press Secretary shut him down by saying that “I’m always happy to have this conversation with you, even about your awesome socks you’re wearing today, and have a conversation with you, even when we disagree, and I’m doing FOX News Sunday for the third time in the past few months.”

While there was no literal mic drop, the effect couldn’t have been more poignant.
