Trump fails miserably as he tries to slam President Biden with comparisons to Jimmy Carter

You want him to just go away and shut up, but Donald Trump still acts like anything he says is a pearl of wisdom that needs to be seen and heard by every American.

While most people know that his pearls are more reminiscent of the rat droppings that likely litter the floor of his hotels’ kitchens and are grateful that his banning by every major social media platform keeps the distribution of his despicable rants from reaching most Americans, Trump soldiers on, posting on his pathetic blog as if anything he thinks matters beyond the limited circle of his deluded followers.

Trump’s latest dropping is about as mean-spirited and gratuitous as one would expect from a notoriously sore loser so devastated by his landslide defeat to Joe Biden that he is unable to accept its reality and instead lives in an alternative fantasy land of his own making wherein mysterious fraudulent activities delivered a stolen election to his rival.

In it, he attacks President Biden with a comparison to former Democratic President Jimmy Carter that, in his own twisted mind — so rooted in the grievances and perceptions of the past — ignores the fact that the nation at large has reassessed the Carter administration much more positively than Trump seems to regard the oldest living person who formerly held the presidency.

Perhaps Trump missed out on the life of service that Jimmy Carter has displayed in his post-presidential years, exemplifying his true Christian faith while helping build homes for disadvantaged people through his activities in Habitat For Humanity.

More likely, a proven narcissist like Trump simply can’t grasp the idea of sacrificing anything at all for the benefit of others.

Nonetheless, the latest ex-president went out of his way to let people know that, as little as he respects Jimmy Carter, he believes that Joe Biden is even worse.

Add your name to demand Congress raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour!

Attributing a series of crises — most of which are characterized as such only in his own mind and that of his complicit right-wing media partners — to President Biden’s creation, Trump fails to note that they all have roots in his own failures while in office.

From a border crisis that developed from his own programs involving family separations to the supposed economic crisis that actually resulted from Trump’s disastrous mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic to the Israeli crisis that at least in part stems from his complete abandonment of the occupied people of Palestine in favor of his pal Bibi Netanyahu to the gas crisis that was ultimately the product of his slashing of America’s cybersecurity defenses, every item on Trump’s litany of Biden’s offenses is the result of his own failed policies and incompetent administration of the Executive branch.

By claiming that President Biden “has had the worst start of any president in United States history” without a single fact to back up his claims, Trump ignores the failure of his own phony predictions that the stock market would fall disastrously if Biden was elected.

In fact, Biden’s stewardship of the economy in his first 100 days inspired that bastion of capitalist journalism, Fortune magazine, to publish a story under this headline:

“The stock market’s performance during Biden’s first 100 days has officially bested everyone from Trump back through Truman”

Despite what he claims, future generations will most likely compare future disasters not to either the Biden or the Carter administrations, but to Trump’s own tenure in office.

Biden should wear any comparisons to Jimmy Carter, an exemplary human being, with pride.

It’s when people start comparing him to Donald Trump that we’ll have to worry.
