There’s no doubt at this point that the man formerly known as America’s Mayor after the terrorist attacks of 9/11 is now in deep do-do in regards to his ability to practice law after being suspended from his New York law license last month.
Blame it on his irrational loyalty to Donald Trump — who doesn’t even have the decency to pay the inflated legal bills that Giuliani racked up on his behalf — and the former NYC mayor’s insistence on promulgating false claims of election fraud.
Now, the hair-dye-stained former lawyer is reaping one of the other consequences for his despicable anti-democratic behavior: the ability to practice law in Washington D.C. where he was also licensed as an attorney.
BuzzFeed News’ legal correspondent Zoe Tillman noticed the announcement from the legal authorities in our nation’s capital and posted the news to Twitter.

Apparently, Rudy Giuliani was licensed in Washington D.C. on the basis of his New York law license rather than having taken the bar exam separately in that jurisdiction.
Once the New York license was suspended, it was only a matter of time before D.C. officials noticed and revoked his ability to act as a lawyer in their courts.
The additional suspension was the cause of much mirth among Giuliani’s detractors on social media.

I don’t think so. They seem pretty professional to me.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen!
Hopefully, once the House select committee completes its probe of the planning behind the January 6th insurrection, Giuliani will join the Trump family, several GOP members of Congress, and the militia members who participated in the violence in facing criminal consequences for their actions.
We’ll take this for now, though.
