Miserable Trump throws fit because a British golf tournament isn’t held at his course
Former president and disgraced real estate mogul Donald Trump has been on quite a roll lately, firing off his public statements with unusual frequency. Perhaps he’s getting his mojo back after his crushing defeat in the 2020 election and subsequent self-imposed exile to Florida.
It certainly seems to be the case, because Trump’s characteristic perchance for saying absolutely insane and bizarre phrases is firing on all cylinders. In recent days, he’s made catty attacks on a Joint Chief of Staff, General Milley, for sharing his concerns about Trump’s authoritarian impulses and trashed his former staff by saying that he was “the greatest star maker of all time” but that some of the stars were “garbage.”
He followed that up on Saturday with the following statement about the British Open, a golf tournament. The decision to not hold the Open at his Scotland golf course clearly sticks in Trump’s craw, as he complained that the Open thought he was “too controversial” — and instead argued that “controversy only makes things ‘hotter.'”

What that might actually mean is unclear, though Trump only has himself to blame for being too “controversial.” Hopefully, this is only the tip of the iceberg of consequence for Trump after all the horrifying things he’s done — but at least we know he’s miserable!
