Marjorie Taylor Greene buried with mockery for vowing to never “stop tweeting”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was recently hit with a temporary Twitter ban for spreading COVID-19 misinformation, one of the favorite pastimes of a woman who has come to be known as the “QAnon Congresswoman” thanks to her love of outlandish and dangerous conspiracy theories.
Never one to miss an opportunity to turn her own embarrassing behavior into a publicity stunt, Greene used her Twitter ban as an excuse to hold a little press conference today. Displaying a sign attacking Dr. Anthony Fauci (something Greene does regularly to distract from the ways in which the MAGA movement she ascribes to has directly contributed to the spread of the coronavirus), Greene tried to paint herself as an innocent victim of sinister “Big Tech” overreach. Her tone was completely unrepentant.
“I will not stop speaking I will not stop tweeting. I will not stop posting. I will not stop asking questions,” stated Greene.

Clearly, the Congresswoman is committed to spreading more misinformation about the pandemic the moment she regains access to her social media platform. She doesn’t care how many people contract the virus and die because of her, she’s only interested in building her political profile and attracting the support of the anti-science right-wing crowd. At this point, Twitter would be well within its rights to hit her with a permanent ban the way they did with Donald Trump after he incited the January 6th Capitol insurrection. Lives might very well be saved if she is removed from the website.
Greene’s ludicrous promise to keep posting and tweeting no matter what quickly drew widespread mockery on Twitter, with many pointing out that her remarks sound like a parody of the countless internet-addicted weirdos who populate the website.
