The inner turmoil within the Republican Party continued today as right-wing extremist Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) accused Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) of “dirty politics” after a former McConnell campaign manager helped disseminate negative news reports about the potential GOP senatorial candidate being supported by the disgraced ex-president, Donald Trump.
The entire scenario played out on Twitter after Josh Holmes, Senator McConnell’s former chief of staff, posted this tweet commenting on news reports that retired NFL player Herschel Walker, a rare Black Republican whom Trump sees as his answer to winning a Senate seat in Georgia and regaining a GOP majority in that chamber of Congress, threatened to kill his ex-wife.
This is about as comprehensive a takedown as I’ve ever read. My lord. https://t.co/xwNy2avzU5

The allegations about Walker come from previously unavailable records from the Trump-preferred potential candidate’s divorce proceedings and threaten the former NFL star’s viability as an answer to the Republican Party’s dilemma of how to win back a Senate seat in a state like Georgia that flipped from red to blue in the last election.
Representative Greene responded to Holmes’ post, which seemingly expressed his own dismay at the hard evidence of Walker’s murderous threats, by proposing that the former McConnell staffer was part of a conspiracy to undermine Trump’s favorite candidate for the GOP senatorial nomination in Georgia as the Minority Leader and the former guy duke it out for future control of the party that they share.
If anyone should be an expert on dirty politics, it’s Marjorie Taylor Greene, whose own tactics include the daily dissemination of misinformation about everything from the COVID-19 vaccines to the existence of major fraud in the 2020 presidential election to abortion rights and the 2nd Amendment.
Social media responded to Greene’s paranoid attack on her fellow Republican with disdain.
She’s pretty sure, say 51%, that he doesn’t eat babies. I prefer candidates who don’t threaten to kill wives ex or otherwise. Im just kinda weird that way.

I mean this seems pretty relevant:
“Walker, now 59, has at times been open about his long struggle with mental illness, writing at length in a 2008 book about being diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder, once known as multiple personality disorder.”

Very true, though I’m not sure MTG is capable of real feelings.

Just about every day, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene provides us with new evidence as to why she should be expelled from Congress as a dangerous extremist.
Removing her from her committee assignments was simply not enough.
As a supporter of the efforts to prevent the certification of the electoral college vote for Joe Biden on January 6th, she has proven her seditious intent and doesn’t deserve to walk the same halls as those politicians committed to preserving our democracy.
Oust her from Congress now.
